The positives: It was a warmer morning then last week. My butt cheeks weren't ice cold when I finished. Got in 8 miles by 6:10am. Sweat profusely. Vanilla Cliff Shot gel never tasted so good. Passed one other motivated runner at 5:45am.
The negatives: Black ice EVERYWHERE. Spent more time watching the ground than anything else. Slid sideways on more than one occassion. Pace had to be slowed slightly. Legs felt heavy/tired in the beginning of the run.
